We are accepting Applications from Electrical Instructor candidates as well as Senior Electrical Instructors up to IV Level.

Ideally you are a fully qualified electrician with a good contracting background. PTLLS and A1 Assessor qualifications would be an advantage but are not essential for every role. Electrical training experience is required for this role.

Main duties and responsibilities whilst working alongside the Sales Manager include:

Seek sales opportunities from inbound calls and email enquiries

Handle customer enquires both telephonically , by email and live online chat facility

Understand customer needs and requirements and deliver clear, correct advice

Close sales to achieve monthly sales targets

Work pro-actively with team members to ensure all enquiries and daily tasks are completed within set time frame

Record all leads and follow up when required

Process bookings including the completion of all documentation relevant to this

Job Role: Assessment Team Leader (Electrical)

Salary:  £Competitive

Hours:  37.5 hours per week

Location: Gatwick, West Sussex

Job Status: Permanent

Reporting to: The Directors

Trade Skills 4U Ltd are the UKs number 1 Electrical Training Provider and we are expanding. We are seeking to recruit a qualified NVQ Assessor for Electrical Installation to head up and expand our newly created Assessment department. The role will be based at our Gatwick Centre but will involve some travel to our other Centres.

This is a role that will expand and therefore allow for promotion. We are looking for a highly motivated person who is up for a challenge.

What the job involves

The job involves:

Managing the newly created Assessment department

Delivery of initial advice and guidance to NVQ candidates

Assessment, remote and in the workplace, of NVQ candidates

Assessment of in-centre practical assessments

Ensuring that assignments are marked in a timely manner

Initially the role will involve setting up systems to enable the Electrical Installation NVQ to run. It will also involve delivery of guidance and assessment on the NVQ and the assessment of other electrical qualifications. As the department develops and expands, so will the role.

Experience

The successful candidate will have the previous experience of delivering Electrical NVQs and will also have significant relevant electrical industry experience. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of managing a team of assessors, but this is not essential.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold the following qualifications:

Full level 3 qualifications in Electrical installation, equivalent to a Level 3 NVQ.

Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (17th Edition) – e.g. City and Guilds 2382 or equivalent.

Initial Verification at level 3 – e.g. City and Guilds 2391-10 or 2394 or equivalent

Periodic Inspection at level 3 – e.g. City and Guilds 2391-10 or 2395 or equivalent

Assessor Award

It is desirable but, not essential, that the successful candidate holds a Verifier Award.
