Why take the C&G 2377-77 EET / PAT Testing Course?

This is C&G 2377-77 PAT testing course now covers a wider range of Electrical Equipment Testing (EET Testing) and has been updated by C&G in November 2020. The scope of the testing covered has been expanded so much that soon it will no longer be referred to as a PAT testing course.

Course overview

Why take this EET / PAT Testing training course?

PAT Testing has always been a great way of adding another source of revenue for many electricians or a great small business for those dedicated to just this service. With the latest qualification update the range of equipment that can be tested has been widened provider greater scope to generate revenue.

Kewtech PAT testers are used on this course and are available to purchase at Reception in our main centres (Leeds, Gatwick and Warrington) at a discounted price.

Is this course right for me?

This course is intended for those with an electrical background and a basic understanding of testing. PAT Testing is a skill that can be learned by almost anyone (over the age of 18) such as office maintenance staff or landlords. If you do not have an electrical background we would recommend taking our 3 Day PAT Testing Course as well as undertaking courses in safe isolation and electrical installation to increase the scope of equipment you can test.

In a commercial environment, regulations insist that every item of electrical equipment is tested and certified as being safe to use. For electrical contractors this can be seen as a potentially lucrative new service to add - and one that is required by industry at all levels.
