If you or your employees want to ensure you comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations act when working on electrical installations then this safe isolation course is ideal. It covers both practical and theory training making sure you are able to safely isolate an electrical circuit in line with the regulations, company procedures and relevant guidance documents.
This is the ideal course for a range of people from facilities managers to existing electricians who need to make sure they they have both the practical skills and knowledge of safe working practices to isolate single phase circuits.

Course Content
During this course you will learn through the use of presentations, practical demonstration by your tutor and hands on practice on our training rigs. We offer great dual purpose classroom designed specifically for inspection and testing. At the end of the course you will have learned:
- The Dangers of Electricity
- Effects of current on the body
- Electricity at Work Regulations pertinent to Safe Isolation
- Requirements of GS38 test equipment
- Safe Isolation & Testing for Dead on electrical installations
Assessment
There will be a practical assessment at the end of the day. Candidates will be required to demonstrate they can safely isolate and test for dead and electrical circuit. On successfully completing this assessment we will provide a certificate of achievement confirming you have the required knowledge.
