PAT TESTING FOR BEGINNERS

PAT Testing is a skill that can be learned by almost anyone (over the age of 18) such as office maintenance staff or landlords.

If you do not have an electrical background we would recommend taking our 3-Day PAT Testing Course as well as undertaking courses in safe isolation and electrical installation to increase the scope of equipment you can test.

ANOTHER SOURCE OF INCOME

PAT Testing has always been a great way of adding another source of revenue for many electricians or a great small business for those dedicated to just this service. With the latest qualification update, the range of equipment that can be tested has been widened providing greater scope to generate revenue.

Kewtech PAT testers are used on this course and are available to purchase at the reception in our main centres (Leeds, Gatwick, and Warrington) at a discounted price.

There are no formal entry requirements however if you are a complete beginner we recommend the 3-day PAT course.

Anywhere it is required (domestic, commercial).

PAT testing is a good additional revenue stream for in-between bigger jobs.

This course has replaced the 2 qualifications before it. This is much simpler in terms of assessment and exams. The course is similar in scope to the two qualifications but C&G has updated the content so that it covers the testing of all electrical equipment.
