What will I learn with these courses?
C&G 2346 Experienced Worker NVQ Level 3 Electrical (2356)
This NVQ is tailored for existing electricians who have worked in the Electrotechnical industry for over 5 years without completing an industry apprenticeship or equivalent Level 3 NVQ. Suitable for both employed and self-employed individuals, this route allows your existing qualifications, skills, and experience to contribute toward the qualification. With the assessor's support, completion can be achieved in a realistic timeframe of 6-12 months. The qualification is site-based, eliminating the need for attendance in the centre, and communication with the assessor is conducted through email, telephone calls, and online meetings.


C&G 2357 NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation / Maintenance
Designed for beginners, this NVQ requires City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 & 3 (or equivalent) and City & Guilds 2382. The structure of the electrical NVQ is designed for simplicity, allowing candidates to complete it remotely via an online system. This system enables the upload of various types of evidence and the completion of assessments as you study, minimising the need for the 2-3 site visits that traditional providers often require. The course typically takes 12-18 months to complete.
Upon completion of the Electrical NVQ's, whether as an experienced worker or a beginner, participants will be equipped with a recognized qualification in electrical installation and maintenance. For experienced workers, this qualification acknowledges and formalises your existing expertise, opening up further opportunities in the industry. Beginners will have a foundational qualification to kickstart their career in electrical installation and maintenance.
