Warrington Directions

Our centre at Birchwood is perfectly placed for students travelling from Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington and Chester. You can use the interactive map below to work out how to travel to our centre from a variety of locations. Remember you don't have to drive - scroll down to find out how to reach us by train, bus, bike or even walking. The centre is based very near junction 10 and 11 of the M62:

Getting Here by Train?

If travelling by train it is best to travel to Birchwood Station which has 3 direct trains to Manchester and Liverpool every hour. Once you have arrived at Birchwood you can easily cycle to our centre or get a bus. Alternatively if you are travelling from Chester, Wigan, Preston or Crewe you can Travel to Warrington Bank Quay station and again travel by bus to the training centre.

Travelling from Birchwood Station by Bus?

The nearest station to us is Birchwood Station. From there you can catch the Number 28 Bus until you reach the Heathfield House Bust Stop. From there it is an 8 minute walk north to the training centre. At peak times buses run every 30 minutes and hourly during quieter times.

Travelling from Warrington Central Station by Bus?

If you get the bus from Warrington Central station take the number 17C or the number 25 Bus until you reach the Heathfield House Bust Stop. From there it is an 8 minute walk north to the training centre. Buses run every 30 minutes and the 17C only runs during peak hours.

Travelling from Warrington Bank Quay Station 

From here it is best to travel to Warrington Central Station and then either get the train to Birchwood Station and get the 28 Bus or get the number 17C or 25 bus until you reach the heathfield house bus stop.

Bus Stop Map

The main stop to use if getting the bus to the training centre is the Heathfield House Bus Stop to the south. You can then simply walk up Warrington road for a few minutes to reach the centre. You can see the route on the map below:

Car Sharing

Car sharing is a fantastic way to save money and parkin spaces too. If you are visiting the training centre and want to offer or find a car share please register with liftshare.com or visit the Warrington Borough Council Website for more information.

We also have a lift share board in the break area. Here you can find a lift share or advertise one.


There are a number of dedicated cycle lanes that lead to and around the training centre. It is best to view the Cycle Map on the Warrington Borough Council's website here.
