I am already an electrician looking to train in solar PV
The following courses are perfect for those looking to upgrade their skills. The most popular Solar PV courses we offer for experienced electricians are the C&G 2399, the Bpec Solar PV course and the BPEC G59 for larger installations.

This BPEC course gives you plenty of practical ‘on the roof’ training in order to provide you with hands on, practical experience of installing solar PV equipment.

This full course includes the 2399-13 installation unit and the 2399-14 fault finding and maintenance unit. This is the complete qualification if you want to be a Solar Panel Installer.

This 2399-01 foundation course covers a range of renewable energy technologies. It makes a great entry point for anyone starting out in the industry.

This solar PV course will provide you with both hands on practical training & theory of the City & Guilds qualification. You will be taught on our full scale single storey roof. You will able to use this course in your application for MCS accreditation in solar PV technology.

This course can only be taken as an extension to the 2399-13. It aims to give you the knowledge of correctly maintaining and servicing solar PV equipment, allowing you to provide a valuable added maintenance contract service to your customers.

Any installation of a PV system over 16A per phase will be subject to different engineering recommendations and procedures than a domestic scale installation.

This health & safety course is classroom based and provides you with all the essential health and safety knowledge required for fitting solar panels. This includes working at height, manual handling, some COSHH elements and NICEIC certification.
