Why take the C&G 4141-01 Domestic Installation Workshop?

Frequently asked questions
What is the purpose of 4141-01?
The purpose of this course is to get you installing so you become competent at carrying out all types of domestic installations.
Even after 5 days you will realise single phase wiring is not rocket science and is quiet straight forward.
What does it allow me to do?
By itself the 4141-01 does not qualify you to work as a domestic installer. It is intended as an introductory course to be taken with other qualifications (as per our bronze course package) however it will give you the hands on skills to be able to carry out non notifiable work or work under supervision with an experienced colleague.
Can I learn that much in 5 days?
Single phase wiring such as ring final circuits and radial circuits are easy to get your head around once you start practicing, this course gives you all the skills you need to carry out first and second fix.
Our advice would be to practice as much as possible after finishing so it stays fresh in your mind.
Do I get a qualification from this course?
Yes indeed this is a recognised City & Guild qualification. On passing this course you will be awarded a Level 3 C&G certificate in “Electrical Installation Work in a Domestic Dwelling”. The qualification is approved and certificated by City & Guilds who are the UK’s leading provider of vocational qualifications.
