Signing up to an apprenticeship or educational course can be a difficult decision if you're unsure on what career path to take. That's why at Trade Skills 4U we are offering 16 - 21 year olds the opportunity to come along for a taster week for free.
The next course will run for 5 days from Monday 6th March to Friday 10th March 2017.
On these short taster courses you will learn the following:
Background to electrical contracting
Different career paths
Overview of electro technical science
Basic health and safety regulations
Basic Wiring regulations
Some hands on installation skills for domestic installation
Take part in a practical workshop
The taster week is designed to introduce you to the market, gain some knowledge of science, some of the theory and hands on skills that will be required every day working as an electrician or a domestic installer.
It’s always wise to look before you leap and attending one of these electrical taster weeks could well help you make the right choice for your future.
In order to attend an electrical training taster week you must be:
Between 16 - 21 years old.
Interested in training as an electricians apprentice or electrical installtion in general
Able to commit to a full week's training Monday – Friday, 9.00am-4.00pm.
