This course is an entry level course to tiling for those wishing to undertake Tiling projects around the home. It is also the Foundation Course for our Professional Course below for those wishing to enter the Tiling industry and take further more indepth
- Selecting the right materials and tools for the job
- Setting out (Basic) To vertical surfaces, walls (Plaster / Plasterboard)
- Setting out (Basic) To horizontal surfaces, floors(Concrete / Sand & Cement)
- Using and selecting tiling tools, trowels, floats, washboys, gauges etc
- Marking out and setting out your project and measuring techniques
- Fixing tiles, walls and floors
- Use of adhesives, types and application.
- Grouting and finishing
- Apply beading, trims and sealant
- Use of cutting machine, manual cutters, drills and saws
