Q. Who is this course suitable for ?

A.
* Anyone wishing to become a plasterer and move onto further training and qualifications are able to use this course as the foundation to their plastering training.
* Anyone wishing to do small plastering jobs for customers as part of their service. i.e Kitchen fitters or tilers
* Anyone wishing to undertake basic plastering DIY jobs around the home.

It is also the Foundation Course for our Intermediate and City & Guilds qualification plastering courses for those wishing to enter the Plastering industry or maybe to add Plastering to your skills base and undertake plastering jobs for your customers if you are perhaps an existing tradesperson like a plumber or builder etc.

Course Content.

What's included.

• Health and Safety Requirements, the correct use of materials, equipment and tools
• Planning fixing and cutting Plasterboard, gypsum board, tools and fixings
• Angle beads cutting, fixing, using jointing tape
• Using a plasterers Hawk and Trowel, applying plaster to block work, plasterboard, the correct way and the knack of how to apply the plaster and produce a good finish
• Exterior rendering, materials, levelling, finishing
• Applying gypsum based backing plasters
• Skimming and finishing to a smooth finish ready for decorating
• Invisible repairing damaged plasterboard
• Tools and equipment advice and training
• Plaster products explained

5 Days intensive plastering training.

£325 Inc Vat and use of all plastering tools and plastering materials.
