Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment
This course qualifies you to undertake PAT testing. Every item of electrical equipment in a commercial environment is required to be PAT tested, that is it has been tested as being safe to use and has been marked safe, whether it be a kettle, toaster or computer.
This one-day 'practical' workshop covers everything necessary to successfully achieve the City and Guilds certification. The course includes both a theory element and a practical elements.
We take you through the practical disciplines and formal recording processes, as well as preparing you for the online test.
You will then take the City & Guilds 2377 online test with us, and if successful be qualified to PAT test commercial equipment for your customers.

Exam
The PAT Testing exam consists of 30 questions with a time limit of 1 hour. This exam will be conducted at our centre in a comfortable environment.

The reference book 'Codes of Practice for In- Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment' 3rd Edition ISBN Number 978-0-86341-833-4 is required for this course.
