Need help funding your electrical training? We can help!

We are one of the only private electrical training providers in the South East that have established funding for students based in this region. Funding is only available via Trade Skills 4U if you live or work in one of the regions highlighted in dark green below:

Students must live or work in one of the following counties in order to qualify.

    West Sussex

    East Sussex

    Surrey

    Kent

    Hampshire

    Berkshire

    Oxfordshire

    Buckinghamshire

    Isle of Wight

** Students who live and work in Greater London are not eligible.

If you live or work in this area then there are a number of options available:

    1. Funding for those not in employment or education

We are able to provide funding for 19-23 year olds who have not previously obtained a level 2 qualification. If you left school without 5 GCSE's graded A-C and want to train as a fully qualified electrician then this funding stream could be ideal for you. In order to access this funding you must be:

Be aged 19 to 23 (Must be 23 years old or younger when you start your course)

    Not in employment

Not in any type of education

Highest level of any qualifications held must be below level 2

Be a resident of an EU country or have the right to live & work in the UK

Be living in the South East region (See the map above)

This funding is only available on our City & Guilds 2365 Course which is the ideal starting place for those looking to fully qualify as an electrician. For this funding we can offer a substantial contribution to our 2365 Course. Call 01293 529777 for more information.

    2. Funding for people who have been made redundant

If you have recently been made redundant we can access funding to reduce the cost of your training with Trade Skills 4U. The level of reduction will depend on the number of courses taken with us. Your redundancy must be dated within six months of the start of the course.

In order to qualify you must be able to provide a copy of your redundancy letter from your previous employer on their headed paper. As long as you can supply this and live within our catchment area we will take care of all the paperwork for you and you will simply have to pay a reduced price for your course.

The amount you will receive will vary depending on your application and is usually a partial amount of the course cost. All awards are based on your individual circumstances and course booked. Please contact us for more information on 01293 529777.

    3. Funding for those with no previous qualifications (Work Placed Upskill)

We are able to provide funding for students who have not previously obtained a level 2 qualification and are looking to take a level 2 course. See below for more details. If you left school without 5 GCSE's graded A-C then this funding stream could be ideal for you.
