  • Transferring from 2330 to 2357

    Send a quick enquiry

Below is a quick guide to transferring from the City & Guilds 2330 to the new 2357

The City & Guilds 2357 NVQ qualification essentially wraps together a number of older qualifications (including the City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 & Level 3) into 1 package.

It is relatively simple and easy for those who already have a 2330 qualification to switch to the 2357 framework.

Because the courses are modular we are able to book candidates onto individual elements of the course. Should you have a specific need or simply need some advice please call 01293 529777 and we can provide advice on where and how you could pick up your training.

Upgrading from City & Guilds 2330 Level 2

Those who have completed City & Guilds level 2 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology the following knowledge units will need to be completed:

    2357-302 (ELTK02)

    2357-303 (ELTK03)

    2357-307 (ELTK06)

    2357-308 (ELTK07)

    2357-309 (ELTK08)

Upgrading from City & Guilds 2330 Level 3

For those who have completed 2330-07 Level 3 Technical certificate they will need to complete one additional environmental knowledge unit is needed:

    2357-302 (ELTK02)

    Completing the full NVQ

If you want to achieve the full NVQ qualification you will also need to complete the following work placed assessments

    2357-311

    2357-12

    2357-13

    2357-15

    2357-16

    2357-17

    2357-18

    And the AM2 assessment:

    2357-399

We can help you understand which units you need to take

If you are interested in switching then please contact us on 01293 529777 and we will arrange an assessment to ensure you take exactly the right units required to pass the courses.

If switching to the full NVQ it is possible in some situations you may be eligible for funding, however this will need to be assessed on an individual basis.
