This course is primarily aimed at plumbers but could be useful to anyone looking to install a rainwater harvesting system. This could include builders and ground workers who want to work along side a qualified plumber to carry out the final connections.

Rainwater harvesting is proven technology that is guaranteed to work and save householder on water bills. After completing this course you will be certified in the nationally recognised BPEC qualification for rainwater harvesting. The certification covers the collection, storage and use of rainwater for use in domestic washing machines, WC's and flushing urinals.
You will train in our state of the art dedicated renewable energy training centre which offers realistic training environments to give you the best training experience possible. You will see the full system in it's entirety with collection of water from a real roof. Our system is connected to a working loo, however this should only be used for training purposes!
Course Content:
This course will teach students to specify and select the most appropriate rainwater harvesting system as well as install and maintain the most common types of systems in the UK.
This course covers both theoretical teaching and hands on training on our purpose built rainwater harvesting rigs.

There is a 40 minute open book multiple choice exam.
